PARK NOTICE!
Everyone is welcome to Dearborn County Parks at all times of the year. However, the gates for parking lots are locked and restroom facilities are winterized from November 1 through March 31.
** NOTE: The Guilford Covered Bridge Park Shelter is not available for scheduling –
this location is first come, first serve only.
The oldest park in the system is unique for a number of reasons, Guilford Covered Bridge Park is the site of the restored Guilford Covered Bridge, a major county landmark and frequent roadside tourist attraction, as well as an excellent family gathering area with access to Tanners Creek.
Cars are permitted to drive through the wrought iron gates, across the bridge and park in the lower lot. A small shelter house, basketball court, play equipment and bathroom are located in the central open space. The park is a popular picnic spot and has been the site for many family reunions and even weddings.

Rullman Park is located at 19322 Turkey Point Road off State Highway 48. Dedicated as a wildlife refuge by the generosity of Harry and Alma Rullman this 80 acre park will remain in its natural state.
Gladys Russell Wildlife Habitat Trust Area is located at 13364 White Plains Road. The parks 149.4 acres is mostly wooded with walking trails, a large pond and a restored barn.
County Farm Park is located at 11706 County Farm Road. This is the largest park in the County Park system at 307.57 acres. Little Hogan creek meanders through dense woods that contain many native plant species.
Bright Meadows Community Park is located at 2095 Einsel Road in Bright, Indiana. Most of the park property was donated to the Park Board in 1996 by the Sunman-Dearborn School Board.
