Dedicated as a wildlife refuge by the generosity of Harry and Alma Rullman
The Rullman Wildlife Refuge is dedicated to native wildlife, trees and fauna. The park offers a short walking trail, a new 1.9 mile walking trail, and a “catch and release” fishing pond. We additionally have a shelter and picnic area!
Come visit our newest hiking trail in the Dearborn County Parks! The trail, name Red Elk Trail, in honor of our former park board president Jim Red Elk, is now available.
The trail is 1.9 miles long, has several benches along the path, passes through the beautiful wooded area at Rullman Wildlife Refuge and is ready for you!
